| Information | My name is Marinus Wieten, I live in IJsselmuiden, The Netherlands.
For a period of four years I studied at the Dutch Academy of Photography and
I graduated in 1982.
At that time I already had been a certificated photo-reporter for several years.
In 1988 I started my own studio. I specialized in advertising and product photography and in reproducing photographically.
I also worked on location. This work was commisioned by trade and industry.
Among others things the subjects were architecture and landscape.
In 1998 I closed my studio and I further specialized in photographing nature and landscape.
My images are featured on various websites, picture of the month on Art Limited, nominated by Nature's Best Photography, picture of the week on Nature's best Photography, selected on Syngenta for most inspirational photos, featered on Fotoblur, etc.
I supply my images to individuals and businesses around the globe, and my images are used for various photo stock agencies and are published in several magazines’
At the moment I am writing a E- Book about Black and White Photography and the
several steps to take in the various photo editing programs.

Equipment:
All pictures are taken with a Hasselblad H3DII camera and the following Hasselblad objectives: HCD 4/28 mm lens, HCD 2.8/80 mm lens and the HC macro 4/120 mm lens, and the Nikon D3X
The images are stored in a RAW file and subsequently processed in Hasselblad RAW image processing program Phocus or CaptureOne from PhaseOne
These high resolution Hasselblad images are then stored in TIFF 300 px/inch, 63,5 MB files. The Canon Files are 70 MB 300 px/inch |  |
